I’m Damien, a Chartered Tax Advisor and Chartered Accountant, and co-founder of Irish Tax Hub. After spending over six years in Deloitte Ireland’s income tax department, I left in early 2024 to travel the world, visiting over 20 countries across four continents.
Along the way, I worked various jobs and had to navigate complex tax obligations in different countries. I came across some excellent online tax resources and began to wonder why similar tools weren’t available in Ireland.
That experience inspired me to start Irish Tax Hub - a platform offering free tax tools, clear information, and fair, transparent pricing, as an alternative to the commission-based model common in Irish tax return services.

Irish Tax Hub was launched in 2025 with a mission to merge deep financial services expertise with innovative software engineering, creating smarter, more accessible tax solutions for the Irish market.
After leaving Deloitte in early 2024, I set out on a new adventure, driven by my passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I spent the next 18 months traveling the world, seeking out and training in some of the best gyms across the globe.
My adventures across the globe, from the salt flats of Bolivia to the beaches of Bali, have shaped my perspective on how technology can make complex tasks more accessible.
I believe everyone should benefit from technology - especially when it comes to managing their taxes. Our free tools make tax tasks easier by removing the need for technical knowledge.
