Senior Tax Consultant

Tax Advisory
Dublin, Ireland
Full-time
Posted: 21st Jan 2026
Closes: 28th Feb 2026
Competitive €60,000 - €80,000

We’re hiring a Senior Tax Consultant to help us deliver the best personal tax advice in Ireland - with top-class customer service, unrelenting standards, and a team that’s willing to work hard to do the job properly.

You’ll be client-facing from day one, take real ownership of complex cases, and work closely with Damien (Co-founder, CTA/ACA) to scale a rapidly growing client base - without ever letting quality slip.

About the Role

This is an early-stage role in a fast-growing company. You’ll be one of our first senior hires and will have significant influence over how we deliver tax advice, build products, and grow the team.

You’ll work across:

  • Client delivery: complex Form 11 / Form 12 work, CGT/CAT, residency, cross-border queries.
  • Quality & process: you’ll help design processes to deliver the highest quality advice at scale.
  • Product: your real client insights will shape calculators, tools, and our tax-tech roadmap.

You’ll work closely with Damien to expand our tax function and serve a rapidly growing client base.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client calls and deliver clear, practical advice across Income Tax, CGT, CAT, residency, and cross-border issues
  • Prepare and submit Form 11 / Form 12 returns (and identify risks + refund opportunities)
  • Own a portfolio of clients - build trusted relationships through responsiveness and high standards
  • Identify repeated client pain points and translate them into process improvements and product opportunities
  • Work closely with our product and engineering team to improve and validate tax calculators and internal systems
  • Mentor and support junior team members as we grow
  • Stay current with Irish tax legislation and Revenue practice - and ensure our advice reflects it
  • Write clear, practical tax articles and guides for Irish Tax Hub, and help ensure all content/tools stay aligned with current Revenue practice

Requirements

  • ACCA/ACA/CTA qualification or equivalent
  • 4+ years experience in Irish tax advisory
  • Take pride in exceptional client service and clear communication
  • Have a high bar for quality and enjoy owning outcomes
  • Are comfortable in a startup environment: ambiguity, speed, and constant iteration
  • Prefer building and improving systems (templates, processes, QA checks) rather than waiting for them
  • Right to work in Ireland

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary aligned to experience, performance, and the level of ownership you’ll take on in a fast-growing startup
  • High autonomy, high responsibility - you’ll have the space (and expectation) to make decisions and drive outcomes
  • Client-facing impact from day one - lead real cases, build trusted relationships, and set the quality bar
  • A genuine seat at the table - work closely with Damien and the leadership team as we scale Irish Tax Hub and build next-gen tax tech
  • Professional development budget designed to accelerate your career
  • Health insurance
  • Pension contribution
  • 25 days annual leave to properly switch off and recharge
  • Clear progression as we grow - scope to lead and mentor, own service lines, and shape how we deliver advice at scale
